SO excited to share that I’ve been selected for Channel 4 New Writers 2024/25. Over the next nine months I’ll be developing an original new drama pilot spec script, with training, mentoring and development support along the way.

I’m super lucky to have Red Productions as my mentors, and Jack Casey as my script editor while I work on developing my gothic thriller set in the north of England. Knowing me, there’ll be a twist of regional folklore and plenty of dark humour in the mix as well.

The new writers nurtures “underrepresented writing talent, focussing on diverse, regional and authentic voices who have a flair for television drama.” I’m one of twenty writers from across the country (selected from thousands of applicants!), and you can read more about all of us on the Channel 4 website. I’m so excited to be among such amazing, talented company and can’t wait to get started.
